Advertising is the best and most effective way of the companies to sell their products. Every time we open a newspaper or we turn on tv, we see sellers of almost identical products. Advertisements may effect in many ways. I think advertisements effect people badly. Advertisers always run down other products. They use famous people and fake materials to sell their products and they cheat people. There are also negative effects on children. Ads encourage children to persuade their parents to buy the products shown in ad , whether useful or not. Ads have an indirect effect on the behavior of children. They might develop temper tantrums when deprived of the latest toys and clothes that are shown in ad. They create "want" in a society that doesn't understand the true meaning of "need".

    I agree with you about affects on children because I have a nephew.Whenever he sees an advertiment about Cailou, Ben 10 and all kinds of chocolate,chips;he wants them and always gets what he wants.I guess,the next time I won't let him watch advertiments :)

    haha mesut :)) yes there are lost of bad effects but what about us. we are aware what happening around us. then why do we let the adv.bring us down?? as being an aware person and adult, we have to limit ourselves and dont let anybody believe these adv.

    yes I think advertisers know that adult people cant be cheated easily and then they play cards to children:D
